Classic look... needs more agressive meat to complete the look. It looks better on an FJ, where they came from. Maybe the cneter caps would clean the look up a little.

On a stock vehicle like that 4Runnere they look like poo but on a lifted truck with much more agressive tires it would look alright but on the street they look like a base model's wheels.

If they don't improve the off road experience I'll stick with my nice Limited wheels and look good doing it.

Yeah, i have never been a big fan of steelies. However, they do offer significant advantages off-road because they are stronger than alloy wheels. They are heavier too...so, they are not for the performance-oriented folks. On my last off-road trip, i wished that i had them because i managed to put a small crack on one of my rims!

I can only dream...each of my rim is around $400-500 (new)!! It is prohibitively expensive for me to get them damaged!

Just get some rims for offroading or just some new rims in general. Those G ones don't look that great.

The problem is that not many aftermarket rims (none at all actually) fit the G's weird bolt pattern and backspacing.

BTW, although i am not a big fan of them, those rims are actually very "Mercedes"...they have a classic design to them.

i dont think it looks half bad, ive wanted to pick up a set of those for winter...is it just me or does it look like it has a lower stance?

arent those rims, the spare off the 3rd gen? looks like it fits on 4th gen with 16's from stock? also i knoe that 3rd gen had those in 15's too, since i had a base model. but those look kool for like winter or just summer fun, doing burn outs and stuff.
