Thanks for posting that ... I told Billy to take a look at it, too. I stand by my statement that the Daystar kits provide two spacers which they intend to be used together. If people want to have less lift, Daystar recommends shaving down the top spacer a bit -- therefore allowing you to still run both pieces, as they were designed to be used in conjunction with one another.
Where's the pic of the whole truck with the lift?

here is one... doesnt' really seem that much higher.. that is why i thought i got the wrong spacer... however when i had all the spacers in, the way it was designed to do, the tires looked really small... so, instead of getting new tires, i just took out the one bottom spacer...

also notice, i painted all of my brake calipers red to accent it a bit more...
and i love the red calipers!

yeah, when i was in japan i painted the ones on my land cruiser and i got alot of comps for it..... so i decided to do it on mine... i love this thing, everywhere i go, alot of people tell me, hey man, nice ride...:bowdown: :bowdown: it makes me smile... but i walk cool and calm... like "yeah, i know!" ... hahahahahaha i wash it about 3 times a week... can you wash the paint off????? haha

Well, I understand you didnt want the complete 2.5" of lift, but if daystar wanted to make a single piece spacer the design would be different...the two pieces are made to work together for a reason.
I dont wanna say you are asking for trouble, but that is not an ideal setup. You got a PM coming.

Is it just me, or does the front end look higher than the rear in that picture?
Don't get me wrong-- it looks good. But the stance reminds me of my buddies '02 Ford Explorer. Have you ever noticed how those trucks always seem to sag in the rear end? I always ask him how it feels to be forever driving uphill!

Your' right about the front end being higher... i ordered a daystar lift kit and only got the front end... they back ordered the rear kit and daystar is going to drop ship it to me this week... (HOPEFULLY), so only the front end is installed right now...

Your truck is looking good. The tire and wheel package looks great. I am starting to lean that way with the lift, just to level out the front. I also like the painted calipers. I was planning on painting mine red, but ended up just going black. Either way, they look better than the stock cast gray color.

Hey thanks alot T... i noticed right away that the revtek kit and the daystar kit are different... the daystar kit, has a main spacer for the front that has three groves for the longer bolts to go through... whereas the revtek kit, puts the big spacer between the spring and the shock tower... hmmmmmmm
