There are plenty of cops that use 4runners. There's even plenty of 99-02 4runners a lot of them are the sport edition that are supercharged.

Those are Kumhos...I pronounce them differently, but I don't want to get in trouble w/ the Moderators haha

I use to work at Wheel Works...I noticed any tire that ends w/ the letter O tend to suck. Toyo, Nitto, Kumho, Sumitomo.

Here's another cop 4Runner on Oahu in front of the Waikiki substation. It was really cool to see all the cop car 4Runner, my wife thought I was weird for getting excited.

On the other hand, if you drive a 4Runner, other drivers tend to "behave" around you since there is a chance that an off-duty officer is behind the wheel.

I once saw a motorcyclist get pulled over after doing a wheelie on the highway in front of what turned out to be an off-duty officer. The officer activated his visor-mounted blue lights and pulled behind the guy. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to call for an on-duty officer, but if you do something dumb enough, it makes sense that they'll take action.

The tell-tale sign -- look for a little antenna on the driver or passenger-side cargo-area window.
