Pictures! Getting your off-road "fix" when living in the city?

What do you do to quench your off-road thirst when you are stuck living in a city? Pictures are encouraged!

Winching from a light pole? Driving over the curb and across a grassy median? Towing other cars out of tight parking spaces? Flex shots on the curb? Crawling city steps?
Maybe finding an oil slick to get in 60 seconds of time in 4WD? I want to see it all. I kinda want to do it all too

there is a hashtag I have been seeing on IG (instagram) called #urbanwheeling seen some pretty dope flicks....with that being said not much of the "urban wheeling" is legal. If I were you I would fill the tank pack a cooler and some camping gear, hit the trails go do some hard wheeling (break it fix it break it fix) get your willy's out then do it again.

Ive been on a few trips where Im like I'm never going wheeling again lol, nothing like hitting a ruff trail and making it all the way across in your yota or pulling a jeep out #jeeprecoveryteam

What city are you in? I see your in the Northwest. I do what ever I can to get a little flex or some mud on the tires. Yesterday I missed my turn and had to turn around, I found a nice muddy ditch that I pulled into. Also a couple of weekends ago when Seattle got snow in the city, I went out driving around and got to use 4Hi to get up some hills.

None of these are curing the fix tho, I need get on some trails. I'm new here so I'm hoping a meet will happen soon!

-Here's a couple of "urban wheelin" shots to give you some ideas.

You can start collecting old tractor tires and go wheelin on the tire pile, or stretch your 4R's legs by flexing on some car ramps.

other than that, you may have to get out of the city and find a good ol' trail to have fun on. :zoom:

Hey, welcome to the area! I know what you mean about exploiting a muddy turnout On Friday, I went along an overgrown path next to the railroad by my house; yeah, it was only for a quarter mile. The snow was great last weekend. I actually found a need for 4LO... My friend called me after landing his S2000 in a ditch. We had him back on the road pretty quickly and the Runner didn't let us down.
