Ok, I have been poking about this forum for about 8 or 9 months, every since i got my runner. And so I figured it was about time for some pics, plus i just got a new camera. When I got the truck it had no middle console cover, so i fashioned one. I also added the bumper, rack, cd player and speakers. it has 200,000 miles and 22-re was replaced 30,000 miles ago as well as new transmission and new battery and alternator, i replaced o2 sensor and TPS.
I have a feeling that about 30,000 miles ago it was driven in some REALLY deep water, because there is mud and grass EVERYWARE! behind the wall panels under the flooring, inside the tailgate, both front and rear seats had grass and mud inside the seat padding.

Thanks, do you think that i my rear is sagging too much? Also i have some small dents on the side passenger door. Could a suction cup think get those out?

YEAH, THE CAN-BACK LOOK IS DA BOMB! AND IT'S EASY ON AND OFF. THOSE TIRES ARE 33X12.50'S. THEY LOOK REALLY NICE ON THERE, BUT DEFINITELY SLOWED IT DOWN A BIT, BUT I HAD THEM OFFROAD FOR THE FIRST TIME A COUPLE WEEKS AGO AT RIVER ROCK ORV IN MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY SELF-CLEANED VERY WELL, AND HAD GREAT TRACTION. I AIRED DOWN TO ABOUT 30 PSI ALL WEEKEND, AND THEY DID NOT LET ME DOWN AT ALL!

sorry about the caps, i do architectural design, so i am typing in caps on floor plans all day. just a habit. and yes, clean with no rust! fill me in on the "Wildcat's". are you talking about my tires?

Yeah, i know about the tires. i am trying to figure if i should get 32's or 33's? i am looking for a good clean look, but still off-road ability, and if i don't have to trim the fenders all the better. Right now i have 30's and as soon as they get a little more worn down, they are gone. I was looking at these (see pic) at Costco, but i am looking to stay with stock rims... for now. What will fit? Also i do probably 90% city and highway driving, does anybody know how these hold up? Thanks

About your tires.....

first off---Mike, thanks, i think they are a strong look for the 4Runner. and they have been excellent off-road, in mud and on rocks.

those are 33x12.5's on stock 8" rims. if you are planning on doing any serious off-roading, i think 33's would be the way to go. however, i did have to use 1" spacers, due to the fact my rims are 8", and my tires are 33x12.5's. you could probably run 33x10.5's and be ok. if you bought aftermarket 10" rims, then they should come with the correct offset. 33's are the biggest you want to go on 8" rims, and anything over 33's would require some regearing. as it is, with 33's on my rig, it is noticeably slower, but i have started doing a lot more off-roading, and the Timberlines i have on there, are GREAT tires so far. also, if you get 33's, and have any serious articulation, you might as well plan on trimming your fenders, at least in the front, i have not noticed as much of a problem in the rear. it's either that, or lift it way up. it's all dependant on your personal preference and how you want your 4Runner to look. i have a 4" lift, and 31x10.5's look like bicycle tires in my wheel wells. also, mine are mt's, where as the ones in your picture are AT's.

I am currently running Michelin LTX M/S 31.10.50s. These are GREAT tires. I have about 30,000 miles on them and they still llook brand new. The are quiet on the road, VERY good on snow and ice and wear like IRON. They also stay true AND round,,, i.e., no flat-spotting overnite or in the cold. Only real drawback that I have ffound is that they are not 'that' great in mud. They just dont have the lugs to clean themselves very well or get a bite. For the money , I don't think you can go far wrong. Especially, if you are doing 90% of your driving on the pavement.
