Pilot rock trail run Sunday 1/25/15

I invite u to my next run when we'll be running Dish Pan Springs(3N34). Btw I'd like to say thanks to CrazyNorwegian for organizing this run.

Ahhhh I got lost and went down Dish Pan Springs and that trail was quite interesting. Totally doable in a stock 4Runner (going down) if you take the easy runs and are willing to move some rocks around with your hands.

Going up Dishpan would be a different story.

Was this trail harder than Dishpan? It looks like a cool trail and I would love to go next time.

CrazyNorwegan guy ... I think we met in Death Valley in Dec. 2013, unless there is a different Norwegian guy with a silver 4Runner in Socal that goes on trips.

Hopefully next time I can make the run. I don't visit the Socal section enough to catch all these runs. I'll try to pay more attention. If you are ever doing a roll call please add my name to the @ list.

Man, looks like I really missed out. My #3 cylinder started misfiring again recently, so couldn't make it. I need to get back out there with y'all!

T4rfredd what do you have on the rear now? It seemed a bit taller than my stock 01. In the next month my wife's 01 will get OME 906s in the rear and TRD Tundra coils in the front with Bilsteins and transmission cooler

Must be someone else, my 4runner was completely stock in dec 2013. But, I'm sure we will meet at some point. I'll make sure you get a @ next time we go.

Actually just today installed the ome 861 LC springs. But as of Sunday they were old man emu 890's springs with bilstein 5100's. So it sat like a pre runner on Sunday but has a sweet rake to it now.

Any interest in doing Cleghorn Ridge and 2N17X on April 11?

My cousin's wife is having a baby shower for their 2nd baby and she gave her blessing to my cousin to have fun 4WDing in the local mtns. He has a 2WD Jeep and I was going to take him on Cleghorn Road and then drop off his truck at the staging area of Pilot Rock and then take my truck along 2N17X. I have some other buddies that want to join but I wanted to throw this out there to this group since you were the ones who deflowered me on my first visit to this place.

We're meeting at Cleghorn Road and the 15 Freeway at 8AM on April 11. Let me know if anyone's interested. We don't have all day and so we'd need to move along fairly quickly and I need to drop him off in Pomona in the afternoon.
