Pismo Turf n Surf 2012, Nov 3-4

This year's annual pismo trip is taking place Nov 3-4. It is officially a Land Cruiser meet, but last year over 500 rigs showed up, Toyotas trucks of all types. Many seriously well built rigs to drool over, and many families wheeling their stock stuff, a ton of fun for everyone. If you have never wheeled out on the dunes at pismo, you should come and check it out. Plenty of 4runners out there, but it would be cool to expand the 4runner scene.

O/T Huh? Ya moving? When did I miss that bit? Was gonna pm ya if we made it up to the 'Rents for Thanksgiving to go goof around above Pinecrest. That's a tough spot to have a business (curve b4 Sanguinetti), did the shop close or what?

Well not really moving, just taking the winter off to roadtrip around the US. And look for jobs along the way and apply for stuff. Depending on how the 4runner holds up and how I handle the cold in the rooftop tent, I might be gone until April, or be back by thanksgiving lol.

I never worked at that shop, more just hung out there with my friends that did, and helped out with projects. They are still there, they just work on their own rigs mostly now, building crawlers and such. I'll definitely let you know if I'm back in town thanksgiving, but I doubt it.

Thanks bud, me too. Yeah man, wish you could head out to pismo, there is always next year though.

Drove through Pismo on the way to San Francisco, I could handle living there....
