yes, that would have been terrible as large as that deer was; would have been in my lap like in tommy boy.

not really worried about the damage too much; i just have 2800 in it & got it so that i could have something other than the mustang to drive in the winter.

still, it looks bad & i know there's no way i'm gonna pay to have it fixed; so i guess i'll get used to it. i hope anyways.

no the fender trim is just the bonus; look to the right end of the fender by the headlight for the big @ss dent where the guard bent into the fender.

deer was a fairly large buck, thank god for that brush guard (deer bumper). or i would be looking for front end stuff too.

btw, i don't know how, but the power antenna is gone too; is this a pretty easy fix; i will miss the radio.

besides, chicks dig scars. you can beef up the story too to make it sound like a near death experience.

Oh I see it now -- it was hard to notice in the pictures due to the reflections. Yah, that's a fairly nasty dent up there -- sorry man! I did notice the antenna missing. It looks like it installs the same was my 92 pickup. You just have to remove the wheel well trim and then you can get at the antenna. Then again, it's been like 12 years since I messed with the antenna on my pickup so I may be remembering it completely wrong.

If that's a factory antenna, you might be able to order just the mast instead of a completely new unit. I replaced a 300ZX power antenna once only to learn later that the mast could be purchased seperately.

Hope you had a tag for the deer, he'll make a nice Christmas dinner.

The antenna can be bought from the dealer for like $20+.

rando is right you can get to it by taking the passenger side plastic wheel well off. You must take the rest of the gear teeth strip out of the housing just a couple screws in the motor housing and it will open up. put it all back together and you feed the new one in the top.
This has been covered in allot of threads try a search.

better yet we should start a library on T4R.org for things like this.
