planning to install light in rear reflectors

I got a T4R V8 with US specs and in Europe red fog lights in the rear of vehicles is a legal requirement. So now I am planning to use the rear reflectors and build in light bulbs, linked up to a separate switch in the middle console.

Pics of the reflectors and how to get them de-installed already found in the forum (pic attached please ignore text from another thread).

Anyone else has experiences to share?

are you buying the eBay versions? I like this idea too and have been on the fence with getting them to look factory actually working...

No I take the originals out and install light bulbs in the casing, still have to figure out the wiring.

Yes, I know that thread. What I am doing is different. Am not replacing the original reflectors but installing light bulbs in the original reflectors. Just used the pic from that thread to show the shape of the reflectors, where the location for lights bulbs is nicely visible.

Now checking if anyone else has done that and has some tips, particularly for the wiring. Final product would look something like this:
