My cladding and mirrors were getting chalkier by the month, so i prepped and coated the cladding on the doors with Black P-dip.

came out okay after about 5 coats.

Thoughts?

I generally am not a fan of two tone rigs, it makes them look cheap, but since i painted my flares black during the 4x4 conversion i thought this tied it all in pretty well.

I like it, and a bit off topic, but how's the 4x4 holding up since conversion?

It all Toyota parts, so as far as the truck is concerned, it came that way.lol

you cannot tell it was not this way from the factory and now over two years later it is tough as nails.

And that was all for 2700, including some extras?

Transmission with T-Case $750
Front Diff $200
Front and Rear Drive Shafts $325
4x4 ECM $125
CVs New $165 x2
Timken Front bearings $145 x2
Toyota front drive Flanges $210 x2
Front Diff Mount $75
4x4 cluster $175
Dash Switch $65

I also added the DAC, Center Diff Lock, and a few other things as I was going.

The prices above are 2 years old and to the best of my recollection. I know some of the parts can be had for cheaper, like tranny, CVs, diff, and drive shafts. But I had a timeline and I needed them like right now.

I'm pretty new and did not even know that was possible. Thanks for sharing.

It is not a cake walk just FYI, you have to have some mechanical know how and be able to pin out your wire harness to run from the T-case to the 4x4 ECU. that said, we did my swap in less than a day 11am-5pm or so. get all the parts together, build a plan and execute.
