Plasti Dip

That looks good, I was planning on doing the same to bridge the gap between now and when I actually have money to buy wheels and new suspension. First to get the current suspension sorted.

My T4R had the front bumper Plasti-dipped when I bought it and now has a couple of quarter sized spots peeling. What's the best way to repair this?

Good Job, going to be doing mine soon too.

Does anyone know if the Plastic Dip will come off when you wash your car with a pressure washer?

I've done this to my 5.0 Emblems on a prior Mustang of mine, it wasn't too bad. But I've been thinking of getting these emblem overlays for the 4runner.

At some point I’d like to try the matte clear they have. I love that it is relatively inexpensive to shoot a whole truck, and semi-permanent too.

I looked into matte vinyl wraps, but the shops near me start at about 4,500. There are definitely other things I’d rather do to the truck if I had that cash lying around.

I like the idea of using cards for the wheels. I plastidipped the steelies on my old car (99 Ford Explorer) as well as a few other areas. Really love the stuff.

How did it turn out? any adhesion issues? I was considering doing my old aluminum wheels on my gen3. How did you prep?

Nice job on OP's emblems. I'm also curious about the wheels.

No adhesion issues when putting it on, but as time went on, the edges started to chip/peel. Definitely could've been touched up at the end, but besides that, adhered pretty well.

Not if you’re careful, but if you blast it up close for several seconds in one spot, you’ll peel it.
