Plasti Dipped front, rear bumpers and Rocker Panels. TRD Decal added also...

Over the last week I have plasti Dipped the front and rear bumpers. Also did the rocker panels. This is just temporary until I decide I really want my rig to look like this. I also cut the front bumper variance and applied TRD Decals. Almost a Decal disaster but some how pulled it off. Would have like the placement to be a half and inch lower but things happened. Does the decal look good placement wise?


BTW, painting around sliders is crazy!!!

My paint is messed up in the area of the decal so when I was applying it the decals would still stick to the film instead of the paint. Luckly I got most on in the right alighment.

Grill mod and plasti dipped rims w/ gloss clear coat to follow.

I want to do my front valence the same way. I like the way your rig looks. My bumpers are chrome, but I want them black. Thinking of doing the plasti dip too. I think the front grille outer area should be painted white to match the paint. Again mine is chrome, but is aged. I may order a black one and paint it and do the Satoshi mod. I used Raptor Liner on the flares, front valence and under the doors and door sills.





I also rotated my hitch to gain clearance.

Yep, that mod is on my to do list also. You need the hitch with the bolts though (three parts). The hitch on my rig is the solid one so will need to source the modifiable hitch.

It was actually very easy to do, might have taken my buddy and I 30 minutes from start to finish. There are some posts on here about doing this. I measured from the main bar down to the lowest point which are the chain attachment loops and added an inch to that total. Then while the hitch was still mounted before flipping I measured up and marked the high point of the total I came up with and then found my center. On the bottom of the bumper there are two supports, one on the outside of my lowest cuts. I measured an inch in from each of those supports and that is where I cut too while cutting the angled cuts down from the top horizontal cut. I hope this makes some sense? Before cutting of course we removed the hitch and then used a black door guard from a car parts store to cover the cuts.
