Plasti Dipped my emblems

I wasn't sure about it when I started it but once I finished, I love it!
Yes I know my SR5 and Toyota emblems are in the wrong places. When I bought it I made the dealer pay to fix a pretty sizeable dent and the dumb@$$ that did it put them in the wrong places. How hard is it to take them off and put them in the correct spot?

That looks great! I've been wanting to redo my emblems with plasti dip for a while and now my spoiler has been added to the list for that day.

It's really easy to remove the badges. Get a hair dryer and fishing line. I'm sure you can figure out the method. When your done, goo-gone the extra gunk and cut out a new sticky backside for the badges from some sort of double sided sticky something.

If you're going to remove the badges and then put them back on, you should just paint them with real paint.

I also did my rear spoiler, but I didn't put clear on it. I like the flat black look. You should do your plastic bumper piece too.

Looks sweet dude, I'm interested in seeing this in person. I really want to do my bumper but seeing as I'm always putting a lot of weight on it I'm not sure how it would hold up.

Just the plastic piece, now that the emblems are black its absolutely killin' me! Same with the spoiler, really want one of those jaos!

The Jaos one is decent. Little too pricey for what you get in my opinion.

There seem to be more people from SC on here. We should really think about getting a meet set up.

looks good man! what carolina you from?

South

I ran the spoiler without clear for about a week and loved the look but it was a PITA to get stuff off of it.
The plastic bumper piece is on the list of stuff to do but ran out of time the other day.

nice man i spent some time near Rockhill SC i miss the BBQ and miss the cheerwine haha nobody over here can even come close to making true carolina BBQ

i was in Fortmill. dude when i saw those cheerwine krispy kremes they were making over there I about bought a plane ticket just to come try some. good gosh those whould be the death of me haha. but yeah man nobody here can even make hush puppies either. Thats one thing i miss about the south is they all take pride in cooking.

I work in Fort Mill. I wish we had a krispy kreme close but its like a 30-45 min drive to the closest one. Which I guess it's better than having to get on a plane. lol
I know exactly what you mean about the cooking. Espically the old ladys.
