Did the thread about his original thread get deleted? If so , Mods can you please explain why or why was it not moved to off topic etc if felt it was not 5th gen specific (even though it was..)

Internet censorship...

*Edit (meant the front) I Would like to get review of folks that have these installed on their 5th gens - Mine front are on the shelf currently as I am awaiting some free time (yes I know its only two bolts.....) and will be interested in the rear when they are released

He was given the opportunity to become an official vendor. As you know this is done to protect the existing vendors and the members.

So is he allowed to discuss his product in any shape or form? Also, why has this stance not been taken to others selling products? I assume as shutting this down was high priority doing the same to those threads should be happening shorty if what you say holds true?

I've been speaking to him. He sent in his vendor application months ago and still hasn't heard back. And with how long it took T4R to remove thieves like Pelfrey, I honestly believe it's on T4R and not a mistake by him.

Great product so far, I have done a few familiar pretty worn off-road tracks with them and there is a noticeable difference over the stock, same speeds have given me a thunk in the past, not once since.

I didn't shut him down. I am just stating why he was. Whenever I come across those that need to be vendors I address them. It is a pretty simple issue.....:yo:

Well I'm glad you made this thread because I have TONS of good info for you.

First things first. Amazing build quality. Like anything at a reasonable price I always question build and other things. These things are legit. Beautifully made. I wish I would have taken some photos before I installed them, but whatever. Live and learn.

Immediately have made a difference. Have a lot of dips around my area on the paved roads, so of course I went over them a little faster than normal. Definitely didn't feel as much of a jolt as I normally would.

I'm hoping I can get his rears in time for my upcoming trip, as I'll be on a ton of washboard road, but I think they're almost finished, so I'll have to test those out after I get back.

I think the important thing here is that he's a small business. Not talking small, big business, but literally from what I've understood a one man show. Classy guy, answers questions immediately, and always willing to help if for some reason you are confused on something.

Makes tons of sense why a company like Timbren was trying to steal business in his thread, multiple times, then after failing was asking for photos. Guess they saw they had legit competition and probably started threatening to pull out because I don't see why else, as you stated above, he's the only one being targeted this way.

With that said, I'm not biased, if a product is crap I'll say it, but when his are $76, you'd be a fool to pay $77 or anything more anywhere else.

Here's a pic again to help see the difference. Of course you'll have to install to feel it.

Fair enough, sorry to call you out when you were simply providing info - I do hope to hear form the mod/admin that did close them as to why and why the others are still up. :yo:

I have no issues with him being closed IF thats what the rules say AND the others who do not follow get similar treatment. What I can not stand is the thought that he gets singled out due to some one complaining and then the others with the same behavior but no competing product get to carry on their merry way.

again, not directed at you (this time :caked: )

Awesome, looking forward to my install and will provide feedback in this thread once I do.

LOL!! I requested vendor information over two months ago. I also requested it again today. Still have not received any information.

I was selectively singled out, we all know it. there are several people that have blatant sales threads for months some for years! I don't want to ruin it for those particular people by saying any names...

Why couldn't one of you Mods send me a message letting me know that my R&D thread is getting into more than it should?? To just come along and disable everything and then not respond to my Vendor request is BS.

I originally wanted to be a vendor simply to help support T4R.org.

How do you think I feel about that today?? Mods???

I was in Vegas and missed the hoopla...........so I will say they are AWESOME! The install is Cake at about 15 minutes total and they are built great and do what they are intended to do! I got the 15% off but would be happy at twice the price! PlasticDude deserves to be treated fairly as He delivers what He says He will.....and not everybody on here can say that.:sniper:

Hey olhobbler,

The purpose of the bump stops is to prevent your shock from over compressing. Toyota has a hard rubber bump stop installed and My bump stop replaces that OEM bump stop with a softer rubber bump stop that can actually compress a little bit before the "stop".

You will notice a difference with my bump stops crossing RR Tracks and crowned intersections right away. But these bad boys are even better on the trail. They provide a softer pillow like feel on g-out/whoops/rutts. The help keep the truck stable by absorbing the impact opposed to just stopping it like the OEM bumps.

Cricket, cricket, cricket!

I know a lot of guys in Tacomaworld utilize his bumpstops. I plan to run then as well. Probably pick up a set during the ‘off season’
