IMO the single best bang for the buck mod you can do to a 5th gen is a nice set of wheels and the TRD's are just sexii.

I wanted the complete blackout look and it turned out exactly like my vision.

Be careful with the end caps, they are not cheap.

Source: Me after trying to remove one with a screwdriver vs the proper plastic clip-type removal tool.

Also, I had mine powder coated in a slight wrinkle finish black that looks, if I do say so myself, spectacular.

Ya know brother, I was going to go with the black lug nuts (they are hard to find but are out there) but after I looked at it for a few days I kind of like the subtle way the chrome breaks up the total black.

But it is definitely personal taste, and I could go either way.

Oh, and you have good taste too.

Resurrecting this old thread to see if anyone has plastidipped their roof rails without removing? A friend recently removed his and said it wasn't as easy as the video shows.

Also following! I would like to plastidip my rails too on my ‘18 Pro. Also wanting to do the emblem on the back door too. Black it all out!!!
