Please check out my bushings

I'm planning to replace some stuff, so I figured I'd just post pics of the existing bushings. I just took these. Oh, and does the angle of the sway bar link at the lower mount look right? I thought it seemed odd it was so cock-eyed.




The end link bushings are toast, just wondering if the links should be angled like that? The rack bushings I can't tell, but I'm guessing they aren't great. I can't really see much on the LBJs, but they look non-new, so I guess that get's added to the list...

And yeah, I need to wire-brush and undercoat things...I know

I wouldn't sweat the bushings. The cracks are superficial. The angle of the link is determined by where it was located when the top nut was tightened.

You can probably grab that end link and re-orient it with your hand... although it really doesn't make any functional difference.

Sway bar bushings are toast, but I wouldn't sweat it. It might tighten up the handling a little bit if you replace them, but you also might not notice a difference at all.

TRE looks OK, but the picture is a little blurry. You're going to need a lot of Knock 'er Loose to get that castle nut off

You should see some of the other ones. The frame itself is pretty rust-free, but I still need to get in there and spend a few hours with the whire wheel and then coating. Winter is coming :smow: (GOT reference, too...)

I know, I know. My wife already thinks I spend too much time obsessing over "The Precious" (as she calls it) GOLLUM! GOLLUM! And now I have to spend hours underneath it to clean up all that shit. Aye......
