PLEASE HELP HVAC Controls...

I am trying to do the HVAC control LED mod and installed two cool white NEO-4 LED's for the LCD screen. I then put 6 cool white NEO-3 LED's in the rest for the rest of the climate control bulbs. None work. I've tried reversing them and still no dice. I don't get it. I've read through Darkies tutorial/thread and everyone says they are plug and play. I got my lights from superbright LED's FWIW. Even the LCD screen has a green hue to it. What could I be doing wrong? TIA

I am/was doing the HVAC control LED mod. I unscrewed the 4 screws up at the top around the LCD screen, and proceeded to unscrew the 3 screws behind the HVAC climate control buttons. I pushed the far right "button through" and the ribbon cable fell off of the button part (still attached to the led circuit board). Now after unclamping and reclamping where the ribbon cable goes back in, the control is not working at all.

All the prongs/ribbons are still there (none are twisted or broke off) but even when I clamp it back in it is super loose and almost falls out if not for being pressed in there by gravity. Do I need a new cable? Where would I get a new ribbon cable? Am I screwed? Can I put wd-40 or something like that on it? Please help my novice self. I'm freaking out man. Thanks Again.

Not sure how you can fix it, but if you need one, I have a parts one (the plastic is trimmed on the top where I installed a CB) you can have for cheap.

TOY2G thank you for the kind offer. I looked at the other ribbons and noticed that the blue piece of contact "plastic" had fallen off. I found it and all is well. Kind of... thanks again though. Didn't/don't think that part is replaceable.

Another question?

None of the DAC Climate control, Rear Defrost, etc. lights light up at all. Even the ones I havent changed. I read up and figured it was probably the red tail fuse a. I replaced it with the spare and a couple of the lights came on. I continued replacing the NEO-3's and now none of the lights will come on. And the new fuse looks good? This can't be that hard.
