Please help identifying this switch

I have no idea what this switch is for so please help. Its the actual switch with the symbol of the car with open doors

I was wondering about that switch myself and was planning on looking at the manual when I had the time. I probably read about it when I first read the manual- but have since forgotten!

is it a light switch? i.e., when it's set to "on" [doors open], the overhead light turns on when the doors are open?

i have tried turning it off and on to identify and cannot figure it out. also, it is not in the manual or any of the diagrams in the box

yep but it is only the reading lights in the front, the middle and rear dome lights dont change. what a dumb button

Those are controlled by the rear dome switch, and the hatch by the hatch switches. All the dome lights are controlled by their respective light switches.

You guys have this one wrong. That switch is actually the eject button. If activated the driver and front seat passenger doors swing open at which time both driver and passenger are thrown out of vehicle.

Yes, that is true. I did a mod to mine that switched it to the back seats/doors and tested with the in-laws the other day ...sure enough it worked great
