2 months ago I took my car into Firestone to get a brake job done and my wheel fell off. The rotor itself never hit the ground- I was able to stop soon enough that the rotor was sitting on the inside of the rim. To make a long story short- Firestone bought me 4 new rims because mine were powdercoated and they said they wouldn't be able to match them. Currently I am running American Racing Artillary 17x9 wheels with 285/70/17 and I am rubbing like an S.O.B.- compared to my Procomp 17x8 wheels with the same tires and spacers that never rubbed.

Firestone agrees that this is not a good fit because I cannot even back up and turn the wheel they rub so bad-and have agreed to get me some new rims. Here is my dilemma... what wheels do I get and would I need new tires to go with them? I'm not looking for free stuff- I just want my car to run as it did with no rubbing!! The old setup with spacers they said was not safe so that is why they replaced my rims to begin with. Let me know what you think guys.. I'm looking for some black wheels- I like to offroad so 16's or 17'' is what I want with some sidewall on my tire- and spidertax spacers are not out of the question for me. I will buy them.
