I have a 03' 4runner sport with v6.
I was going to replace the rear rotors and pads today, however the rotors got stuck! So they were frozen at first, no big deal, a little pb blaster and twenty minutes and a couple turns with the push bolts (8mmx1.25) and they broke free. I know the parking brake drum pads are in there, but I didnt think there would be an issue! I got one rotor off, and apparently there is a lip of rust on the drum part of the rotor catching the drum pads. So i did some reading and consulted my FSM, and there is a little star scew that can be accessed through the front to loosen the parking brake pads. anyways i have some loose parts from both sides from the drum brake assembly and one rotor still stuck on. Please help me with some knowledge por favor!
How do I reassemble my loose parts, is there a assembly drawing somewhere for this?
Any ideas on how to remove the remaining rotor?
Thanks!
