Please help!

I have 2012 tundra platinum crew max 6" rough country lift 20x12 with 35"....the mpg is horrible 9.5 mpg...I was planning on getting 4runnner but I was still going to lift it with maybe 20x12 with 33" anyone running that set up? And what is your mpg? Thanks in advance!

You're going to get crap MPG in any lifted vehicle running over-sized off road tires. I'd say expect 12-14 mpg in a 4Runner on 33s. Let's be real, if you've got the money to trade a $40,000 truck for a $40,000 SUV, is the cost of gas really that much of a deal breaker?

Even lifted, you will definitely rub with 20x12 wheels and 33" tires. 20x9 or 20x10 wheels would be a more realistic option.

Yes this true...but I really don't need this big of a truck...I have side business cutting lawn so still need something to tow my lawn trailer around...12-14 mpg is a lot better gen 9 mpg lol

Well then, get a 4R, put air bags on it, leave it stock, and get 19 mpg all day long.

I get 16-17 mpg depending on winter/summer gas. Used to be about 1.5 mpg better when stock. That's with 33's on 9" wide wheels. When I tow my RZR or boat I get a pretty consistent 12.5mpg.
