Hey everyone, i need help finding a thread. Looked around and cant find it, im sure this has been talked about.

2003 4Runner limited 4.7L

So when i let go of the break, theres a slight knock under the car. I dont drive it every day (wife car) but i do drive it sometimes and now the knock is harder, and i feel it sometimes after slowing down and resuming to accelerate.

Another problem is the gear shifter needs to get hit in order to go into 4th gear from Drive position.

Here's a link to the shifter issue, this topic is what happens after it get passed what you're experiencing and the indent pin pops out of it's hole, but I do believe they talk about how it starts.
