i have a 03 4runner limited with the v8. the rear defrost, wiper, and sprayer do not work. the window will go up and down with the button on the dash but will not go up or down with the key fob or with the key in the lock at the tailgate. also i would like to install a block heater and was wondering if anyone has any advise. thank you all.

Use the dash switch to roll the window down. Then using the dash switch roll the window all the way up AND HOLD THE SWITCH IN THE UP POSITION FOR ABOUT THREE SECONDS.

PLUS the key fob only runs the rear window down --- NOT back up. Guess they don't want you jambing a kid's neck in the glass by mistake.

the key fob does nothing. it will beep when the button is held but the window will not go down.
