I have a 2000 4runner and it is a POS! I am having many problems including it having a misfire. We have changed the plugs and all the normal stuff but it still runs like crap. I am trying to check the fuel pressure but can't find the port. My husband is a great car guy but mostly ls blocks soooooo I need some help. Where in the world is the test port for the fuel pressure?

I am kinda strapped for cash right now and I would get $500 for it the way it is right now haha. But it is the only car I have for my kids and I right now. So I'm trying to make it run smooth for us.

Take it to the dealer or trade it in.

My husband is a mechanic so he has read the code it is P0300 and P0301 he generally works on F-bodies so this is a head scratcher for him. Haha. We have searched the car for the dang fuel test port and can't seem to find it. On and LS block it is on the fuel rail but I'm not sure that the 4runner has 1? It is a 4 cyl motor. I know I know POS haha. I traded my Z28 for this truck due to needing more space for my kids and it ran fine for 2 days then took a crap! This misfire is just the begining of the problems this truck has!

Well that's not very helpful.

kcarr, what engine is in the truck?
Have you taken it somewhere to see if any engine error codes have been generated?

It's possible fuel pressure will need to be tested at the fuel filter. I'm not sure on that engine, but I have two Toyotas, and they both test at the filter. I'd also try to get the catalytic converter pressure tested, if it's clogged it cause issues like that. A muffler shop can do this, shouldn't cost too much (used to be free in some of the shops around here).
