please please help me!

My starter has completely stopped starting. I am in the process of replacing it using the instructions from http://www.yotatech.com/~corey/tech/haveblue_starter/haveblue.htm
however..... when it comes time to taking the collector off, the pictures do not match up! I have what appears to be two exhaust lines coming from the engine, they join together beneath the starter and then go on to the exhaust system. The picture just shows one line. I don't know what to disconnect!!! Please help as my car is in pieces in the driveway!!!

My car is a '99, 4x4 w/ 5speed. It was originally sold in Canada, so could the emissions system be different?

Hopefully you have this sorted out by now, but if not can you post a few pictures of what you are looking at, that makes it a lot easier to offer advice. Also give a location, maybe someone is close enough to swing by and lend a hand.

not that hard

go to the bottom and it should say something about mechanics like auto mechanics.
click on that and enter you car info and look up starter and just scroll throught the site... it has helped me alot!!! good luck

This website is most helpful thanks for posting it and I used it to find the Tech Service Bulletin (TSB) regarding the 99 and 2000 4Runners gas gauge inaccuracy issue.
