So today as I was changing my plugs in my 02 4runner I accidentally broke the clip portion of the plug that goes into the the coil pack. It will still plug in, but I'm afraid over time it will slide off. As of now i have it zip tied to the coil pack so it does'nt work its way back off. It comes off the wire harness and I have no clue what it's called or where to look to get a part number. Any help would be appreciated.

I did the same thing once upon a time. Zip tie worked fine for the full 30k until my next change. Clip p/n is: 19539-11030 (Holder, Resistive is what it's called).

This is for the plug to the plug wire to the other cylinder. If you mean the connector to the igniter, I can get that, too.

You keep saying harness but the plug wires are individually strung on wire guides (the ones circled in blue). The igniter plugs (circled in green) go to the harness, but they don't have clips. I gave you the gray clip on the plug circled in blue.

It sounds like he is talking about the coil pack connector to the ECM (the green circle). Those do have locking clips on them and break sometimes due to heat they get brittle sometimes.
Yes....the plug circled in green is what is broken. On the right side of the plug is a small clip to lock in place, it snapped off. It will still slide on, but will not lock. Any clue of that p/n or name? Thanks for the pic Durk, makes much more sense.

Yeah, it's a locking tab, not a clip to me. And [MENTION=2150]norcal_51501[/MENTION] thanks for the help...but FYI it does connect to the igniter, not the ECM. The igniter connects to the ECM.
Anyway, that connector housing can be replaced and it's 90980-11246. Your dealer parts guy probably can't find it; it's in the EWD (Wiring Diagram), not the parts listing. He can order it, though.

Swapping those connectors is an art. It is described in this manual:

They are all different, and they are designed by the same guys who make those inter-locking Chinese puzzles. I can pull a transmission with no problem, and I always stab myself doing connectors.

installed new plugs and plug wires this weekend and am having the same issue as the original poster....but it doesn't appear my connectors are broken, they just don't want to latch on when pushed all the way down; maybe the lip rounded off when I removed them?
Cutting the wire harness seems like a pain in the ass. I'm afraid these will eventually walk their way off while driving.
I see others in this thread used zip ties? Any other suggestions on how to remedy this? I was thinking a dollop of a high heat glue that I could snap off the next time I have to removed the spark plugs?

Same thing happened to me... since nobody else came back posting any catastrophic errors, I'll assume they stay in well enough? One was broken from the previous shop and today the other two tabs basically disintegrated... aside from that, plugs came out fine and looked pretty decent for 40k worth of usage (oem copper plugs) at 256k
