I had the PO302 code so I changed the spark plugs but the code still popped up. So I then changed the spark plug wires and the code again kept popping up. I just changed the coil pack on cylinder 1&2 and the truck rides a lot better. Before I changed the coil pack the truck would stutter, shake very violently and go back and forth at stop lights. Now that I've changed the coil pack it does not have any of those symptoms.
So my question is the po302 code gone for good, if not why does the truck ride a lot smoother now? I did clear the code. I'm going to Motorvac it next week so maybe that might fix the code? The truck seems to have gotten it's power back after changing the coil.
