Polk Audio DB651 or DB651S for rear? (tweeter height)

In replacing the rear 6.5's on a 4th gen, is there enough clearance between the door grill and the speaker to mount the DB651 which appear to be about 1/4" taller than the DB651S due to the tweeter post height?

I haven't heard of clearance issues on the grille side, usually its the speaker depth that is more problematic.

why not cut a hole in the door speaker grill, that would be cool! just the size of the tweeter

I just received the speakers, I can't see any reason why this won't work.

I just found this on search, how did you get the DB651 speakers mounted? Do you recall?
