Porche boots??

I've read somewhere, (can't remember where), that you can used CV Boots from Porche to replace our torn boots. If I remember correctly, they are supposed to be more durable, or better suited for our lifted rigs???

I tried doing a search, but came up with everything from Military Surplus boots for sale, to other CV boots from various Generation 4Runner forums....

Can someone point me to a good thread where this info is available???

Thanks in advance guys!

i believe its porsche 930 boots

That is correct. You can get them from offroad-engineering and all-pro, but they are rather expensive from those places.

If we can figure out the model years of the 930s that work I'm sure we can find them pretty cheap.

the Porsche 930s were only made from 1975-1989 but only available in the US from 1975-1980 then came back again in 1986-1989. so i would try the 86-89s first as they where more common, and newer

I'm pretty sure you also need to make sure you get the inner boots as the outers are too small.
