Well due to unexpected things this weekend we may be bowing out. I need to find the gas money to get there. So hopefully i sell some parts this week and come up with the gas to make it. as of now its not looking good

I hope it works out for you. But I'll be sure to take as many photos of the event as possible to make you feel like you were there.

Vancouver WA, from 11am - 3pm at Burgerville for a t4r meet n greet and SAR fundraiser, there will be a raffle and depending on the interest afterwords a trail run up in the hills. -bring you wife/girlfriend/significant other/kids/dog what have you and come have a good time and kick some tires with us!

I appreciate the offer to help but we've got it under control. The best way to help out is to spread the word and get as many people to show up whether they're t4r guys/gals or not.

Thanks, [MENTION=60147]the great him[/MENTION]! I will definitely try to make it. I know this is SAR, but will there be any emergency vehicles there? I have a 3 year old nephew who would love to see some (fire trucks, etc).

Also, you couldn't pick my 4Runner out in a mall parking lot - all stock with running boards. I hope it's cool if I drive the FJ in case I can hit trails with you all afterwards.

FJC or 4runner we won't care. You know I kinda put a bug in [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] ear about seeing if we could get a fire truck and or SO car there, I don't know if that ever got done -he planned this I'm just pushing the word as I know a lot f the 4wd community here locally. -we are both in the SAR group together though. Anyhow I just hurt my back yesterday and ended up in the hospital all day heavily sedated... I'm hoping I will be up to leading the trail run. If I can I know there are a couple guys who will be there that know the trails just as good as me and could lead a group on them. Either way it would be a great time to come out and support us as well as meet some fellow Toyota and 4runner guys and check out some rigs and get some ideas.

thanks again to Brian at Top Shelf for stepping up and helping sponsor this event! its one thing for a local vendor to give support for an event like this, but for a out of state vendor to do this is big, i mean Brian will probably never reap any benefits of this. -not to say that vendors only step up and do things that will help them in the end... what im saying here is that Brian is physically a long ways away -out of Nevada, and not from Clark County Wa so if he were to ever get lost or injured outdoors it would not be us coming to look for him, or rescue him... to me that speaks volumes about the character of him and his business. i just wanted to put this out there as a member of this forum and of CCSO SAR, thank you for this! and guys please go support his business as i assure you, you will be treated right!

yeah me too... (its a reoccurring injury thats becoming more and more frequent...) anyhow someone has to stay back at base camp and make sure the deputies dont eat all the donuts or start any shenanigans(see what i did there). anyhow we will get some good pics of the event and post them up for all to see. im hoping we can make this an annual event and really get a good show going on.

I might not make it to this one after all. I am leaving Sunday to do the Oregon Back Country Discovery Route and still have a lot of getting ready to do. I will still try to make it up for a bit if I can.
