Yesterday I installed a jensen navi unit in my 2004 and I've got a few small problems I noticed today. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

-Backlight doesn't work on the fan knob- fan selections work fine and the indicator lights light up when you select Hi, Lo etc. but the backlighting isn't there.
-Light doesn't work for rear defrost button.
-Rear defroster doesn't appear to be working?

I checked all fuses and pulled the connector apart for the climate control and reattached.

Any easy ideas?

Weird... Having the same problems as well, but my front defrost light isn't coming on, but seems to be working. Haven't tried the rear defrost yet, but I'll test that on my way home.

I just figured some of the bulbs got burnt out on the climate control.

how is the orange dimmer wire hooked up? try unhooking the wire and see if it turns on. check dome light fuse and tail fuse.

Welp I double checked -- my rear defrost light wasn't coming on, but I think I fixed it by rolling the back window down and then back up. Luckily there was a light mist on my drive home tonight and I was able to verify that the defrost function is working + the light comes on.

Hmmm I've got all sorts of issues now, rear wiper doesn't work, defroster definitely not working and Bluetooth mic no longer working. Worked when I hooked it up. This weekend I'll have to check all the connections.

Does the defrost for the rear window and rear side windows use a fuse or a relay it both?
