Just found a pic my gf snapped of me and my 4 y/o boxer on a super early morning last Christmas. Can you tell we're both tired? Lol

Her name is kallie, she thinks she's a 15lb lap dog, and loves to cuddle. She scares herself with her own bark and could quite possibly be the worst guard dog ever because if she's not sleeping she wants to play

I've had many more rescued pits over the years - and the ones that are gone are deeply missed. Now to happier times - this is Foose : 8yr old girl with arthritis & a big couch potato. O and my avatar is Vegas - 5 yr old girl afraid of her own shadow. Love seeing all your babies guys!

Isn't it amazing how a dog and young children can bond together so freely, at times it's almost like they speak the same language.

There are many roads that lead to adulthood, learning compassion, leadership, and love. Enriching your child's life with a dog I feel personally, is one of the best moves a parent can do for their children. It's also one of the hardest, for many it's the first death of a loved one, but that in itself is a gift in love. I've always loved Pitts, it's such a shame that so many are raised by horrible people, I commend your efforts in saving as many as you can, giving them a life that all to many can only dream of.

Lost my boy to cancer 10 days before Christmas, hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. He would have been 11 last month

My female was very lonely without him around, he raised her from 12 weeks old.

Got her a new "little brother" who's twice her size about a month later.

This is Titus he just showed up one day. Asked around town and no one every claimed him. We live way out in the country so we figure someone dumped him out there. So I took him in. He is the most loving dog I've ever had and very protective of my 3 nephews who are 1,2,and 4 years old. Not sure what he is but he seems mostly Pitt. He believes he's a lap dog lol. And when walking or riding the 4 wheeler on our land he's always right beside me.

This is me with our two current pups, Ollie (left) and Ashe. Ollie is a 9 month old greyhound (probably around 5 or 6 months when this picture was taken). Ashe is a 3 year old greyhound.

I'd be remiss if I didn't include a picture of my bridge girl, Maya. We adopted her in 2004 (18 months old) and lost her last October to cancer. Miss her every single day.

Funny little fact about greyhounds, they are the best dog to have for apartment living. Apparently they just need to go out for one good run a day and they will be fine for the remainder. I built a deck once for a lady that rescued greyhounds from evil racetrack owners, they were so greatful that everyone (she had 5) would probably protect her to the last breath, if they had too.

greyhounds are awesome. Good for you for giving some old racers (I assume) a good home! That dog sticking his head out the sunroof is funny. Mine are much too short for that, the best they can do is smear my windows with their noses!

First there is Piggie. She is a total baby but a bit on the shy side. Lovely personality! 5 years old.


Frosty is my bud! Too bad he decided to be afraid of the car... totally stresses him out or he would ride along on the trails more (he used to love car rides). One bad experience wrecked him for car rides. 3 years old.

Gotta love dog threads.

This is my 2 and a half year old dog son, named Argos (after the dog in The Odyssey). He's a Tamaskan. I got him January 2012 at 8 weeks old and 6.6 lbs. Now he's an 80 pound, tennis ball catching, baby but I love him to death. A few of the pics have been floating here so you may have seen him before.

Great looking Staffordshires! My girlfriend and I are looking to adopt a dog and every time we go to the shelters to look we always gravitate towards the bullys which sucks because so many places don't allow them which is a shame. I hate that there are so many bullys that are great dogs but don't get rescued because of all of the breed restrictions. Sorry for my little rant I'm just a little frustrated at not being able to rescue one lol. Your bullys look like they have great personalities!
