Im saying you won't even notice it and it costs like $300 or something stupid. It will prob also clog up you MAF and you'll have to clean it all the time. The ONLY way to battle the weight is a supercharger or re gear

That is the combo I am currently running with a SuperCharger. Runs great and I have decent MPGs.

Much. My last 3rd gen was annoying to drive with 33's until I regeared. Once you regear, it's great, but that costs about $1,300.


These are 32" tires.

2.5" up front, 3.75" in the back. The wheels are 16x8.5, tires are 265/75/16.

Please god don't make another thread... Do some research, look around on this forum and then start a thread if you can't find what you are looking for. I am sure everything you are asking has already been talked about it. You are requiring us to do all the work for you.

Also the cold air intake on the Ford I am sure didn't make a difference. It sounds cooler but I bet he didn't gain anymore performance from it. If you want to waste the money go right ahead we wont stop you. We all were young once and bought useless stuff for our vehicle because we thought it was cool but as you get older and learn more about vehicles you find out that all those things were pointless. This is what we are trying to tell you and you can take it how you want it, we are ultimately looking out for your best interests.

Very noticeable around town. Just think of it like this. With 33's you slam on the gas, the 4Runner stops, turns to you and says "do what?". You say "giddy-up", and then it start to go.

However, if you are going to drive anything like I did when I was 16, it might be a good thing to slow you down a little. Just don't go jumping out in front of on coming traffic with 33's and think you are going to get up to speed very quickly...because you won't.

Another thing, i hear from a lot of people that the rear is 1 inch higher than the front when I finish the lift a is it really noticeable like do I have to lower the back an inch or raise the front and inch? If I had to I'd rather raise the front to even it out

It should be raked so the back doesn't sag when you load it up. Raked trucks look much better than a level truck too, especially when loaded.

I'm not getting an exhaust or a supercharger...for example my grandpa bought an f150 and it has a kn intake and nothing else at all that's the only mod that truck has..it does have a significant difference ...but are saying its bad to have that with all the weight on it?

It's gonna be a moot point on a 3rd gen. Stock intake is best intake.

First off I was obviously joking...2nd I literally was told you gain some power from the Mechanic and a few other people on instagram and I drove it myself....and Idk where that thread is I sure can't find it ...and once again I'm only 15 I don't know that much so sorry for asking questions ? How else am I gonna learn I bet you did the same thing

Simple, by searching, reading, and searching some more. One thing that many people don't know, is a very effective way to search forums. by typing "site:toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/" you can search the entire 3rd gen forum using Google's search engine and using extra parameters and boolean operators (if you aren't familiar with these, google them; they're VERY useful).

For example if I go to google and type "site:toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/ 265/75/16 lift" this thread is the very first thread that comes up and is exactly what you're looking for.

15 is an awesome age to start learning, and I certainly commend you for trying to do so. However, realize that just about any decent forum out there is going to give you hard time if you start posting new threads on questions and topics that have been previously answered (and usually beaten to death.)

Ok last question for awhile I promise but I need to know this. If I were to get 265/75/16 tires and Im keeping my stock wheels for a little while too which are 7 inches wide but, the SCS wheels are 8.5 inches wide they wouldn't fit those tires would they? what do I do ! because I don't have 2k to spend at once I have to do it 1 at a time. Thanks
