Thanks! I've been really happy with these drawers and get a ton of use from them. The drawers are dead silent, no squeaks, rattles, etc. The stuff i put inside the drawers will make some noise occasionally depending on how i pack it.

Model numbers are: RDRF945 (roller top), and RD945 (fixed top).

I installed them myself, pretty straightforward. I chose to install a floor plate in the cargo area which I bolted the drawers to, rather than using ARB's instructions and bolting through the cargo floor. Theres some good info on install in this thread: ARB drawer install overview

This is pretty much what I've been wanting to do except only the right side. What slides and lengths are everyone using. The only 36" slides I see are pretty spendy. Idk, maybe I have bad expectations.

All of my slides are 28 inches. The main drawers are rated for 200 lbs, and the small slide out table is rated for 100 lbs. All are full extension, so the drawers pull out a long distance. Unfortunately, drawer slides are very spendy. By far the most expensive part of the project overall.

Sorry, I am no carpenter and I've never built a drawer system so forgive my question. Bc your slide is 28", is your drawer only 28" deep, or is the drawer longer but only extends out 28" with the remainder still 'enclosed'?

Don’t worry! My drawers are longer than the 28” slide. It’s a matter of how far the drawer pulls out. If you look at my picture, you can see that the drawers are at full extension, but a little bit of the drawer is not exposed. If you wanted more drawer to pull out, you’ll need a 30 inch slide, but I found prices to spike once you get to 30”!

Figure I'll post mine since I'm relatively new here (posting, at least)

My goals for this platform were to: create a flat sleeping area (since no 3rd row or sliding tray), leave as much headroom as possible both for camping and for bike storage inside the vehicle, have a little space underneath for minor tools like ratchet straps, tire iron, small wrench rollup, etc., incorporate a sliding table for picnics/camping, and not drill or cut any plastic because hopefully one day I'll upgrade to a bigger platform and it would be nice to be able to start from scratch (basically back to stock just in case certain trim pieces are needed)

My favorite part is the modular rail. If it's not being used, it's all totally flush and you can still easily slide gear, coolers, etc. in and out without hanging up on anything, and if you're sleeping back there, there is nothing poking at you. Hides flat under the floor mat. I have made a few tie down accessories and a bike mount for it that all work really well, and the T-nuts underneath the rail can move to wherever you feel like placing them.

The whole thing bolts up to the factory tie down points, and just relocates the D-rings to the top of the platform, so those are all still usable as well. It installs/uninstalls really easily, and looks factory.

I think this is by far my favorite. My system turned great, but this would work much better for having my dog in her kennel and still getting to stuff. Do you mind me asking what slides you used for the table top?

Anyone have pics of a ultra low drawer storage system? Someone on Facebook had one that was the same height of the oem tray which made the floor flat. It reminded me of my Prius that had tons of storage underneath it.

2-3 inched in height is a good amount of room to store small things like first aid and straps and other misc things

Here’s what I have been working on. A sleeping platform, drawer and cooler slide. I have third row seats and so it was tricky to get it all level. I built the frame out of steel and used cheap 24” slides from Home Depot. Down the road I may replace these with more expensive 32” slides but for now this works. Instead of turnbuckles I made brackets that attach where the factory tie downs do.

Didn't use slides for this actually, got some 2.5 x 1 inch square stainless steel tube, removed a side (so it's basically 2.5 x 1 C-Channel which I couldn't find anywhere locally) and they're bolted to the underside of the platform. They're only about 8-10 inches long but it's enough to support the table. Then I added stops at the back to limit how far the table can be moved in or extended.

How tall is this? I want to build almost the same thing just a little taller. But I really like how it becomes an even platform?

I want to go taller because I want pullout drawers. But if this is tall enough I might just go this route.

Here is a box my buddy and I put together one Saturday afternoon. I modeled it to fit one Frontrunner Cub Pack and one Wolf Pack bin per drawer. I eventually traded one Cub pack out to hold two Makita interlocking tool cases which has pick and pluck foam to keep my tools from bouncing around. This setup is silent, just as I wanted.

I did change the latches to these as the original latches had some play and created a lot of clicking. I sourced these from McMaster instead and SILENCE!
