Well if it makes you feel any better, The stock SR5 wheels on my 4th gen are the worst!!! Also, the chrome grille, whereas nothing else on the truck is chrome.
We all have our struggles, man! :hippie:

Hey....I resemble that remark...lol!
I guess beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder as I actually liked the 2014 Trail Editions front ends better than the Limiteds.

To each his own, but I'm totally baffled by those who dislike the looks of the 2014 Trail. I was so impressed with the new 2014 body style (including and especially the look of the front end), it inspired me to trade in my Tundra and get a 2014 Trail Premium. I'm loving it and couldn't be happier with the decision. I also previously owned a 2003 Limited 4Runner, and I think the aesthetics of the 2014 model are a huge upgrade. Like I said before, it's funny to me how much tastes can differ...

To me the bottom part of the front end is too huge while the top looks like it's squished. Those vent looking things around the fog lights are too big. It's just not symmetrical enough for me.

I agree with the bottom bumper being too big; looks like someone gave it a bloody lip...lol. So that is why I blacked mine out. However, I still like the more aggressive look over the previous gen but does take some getting used to. Definitely not for everybody which I like...lol.

Agreed...when I first saw it, I stood there staring at it wondering if I liked it or not. And the more I looked, the more I liked the uniqueness of it. Can't say I thought it was the prettiest thing I owned (I reserve my Land Rovers for that...lol) but definitely one of the tougher and more unique styles on the road. As someone said on the F150 forums where I showed it off; "looks like a bull dog"...lol.
