I do really like the look of the headlights and top part. It's just the bottom part, the blacking out of that part does make it look better.

They must have done something right, cause sales are way up on these '14s as seen in the link below!! The face is a good ugly in my opinion, it's just a solid looking piece when I see them on the road. Kudos to Toyota for flying in the face of the rest of the automotive industry!

Found this on craigslist. Why in the world you would need a snorkel on a truck with 22 inch rims, I don't know.
 
What a waste of a 1st gen, don't get the whole oversize rim fad especially when it makes your vehicle look like a cartoony toy car/truck.
 
I just red threw pretty much this whole thread in one sitting this is awesome! Some of the worst runners I have seen for sure. personally, a few of the slammed ones I would drive! Hopefully I can find some runners to contribute to the freakshow
 
I couldn't decide where to put this. Here or the stupid cars thread.

Notice the hitch mounted "crash bar" and the "side vent" in the door, the bolt on chrome exhaust and chrome tail light guards. It also had a super nice chrome "damage multiplier" up front with some chrome autozone special fog lights.

The updated 5th Gen will grow on people as time passes. IMO the taillights that stick out like a sore thumb drives me crazy. They do it on the FJ as well.

I will get a 2014+ 5th gen when I wear out my 04. Hopefully not for a long while!
