All the chrome rims and crap on the 4runners in this thread, would look like **** on any car. 20 inch plastic looking cheap chrome rims look like **** no matter what car you put them on. They look stupid when your car is beat to **** and then you have huge rims on it. There are only a few cars and trucks that big rims look good on and the 4runner definitely isn't one of them.

I have seen a good looking lowered 4Runner before. It was black on bronze Volk te37's, I'm sure we've all seen it. I think that would be a much better choice for street use than 22's and chrome. His was also supercharged and very fast for a 4Runner, so he does deserve some props. He had more in it than just looks.

This is the look I'm looking for mine, well maybe not as low but for sure without all that chrome add ons people put these days. Hell I'm trying to eliminate all the chrome the factory decided to put on the 5th GEN.

Ok we have been talking crap about all this chrome but this one at least is just the rims and this one is actually really clean and the rims don't look like the typical cheap plastic looking chrome ones. This one is done right besides the painted red drum brakes that I wish I got a closer picture of. I would have gotten a closer picture but I'm pretty sure it's someones truck that I work with because it stupidly had a GTI license plate frame as well. And If they saw me I didn't want to have to explain why I was taking a picture. But it still in my opinion looks ridiculous but I wouldn't say that this one is ugly.

My only defense is atleast it became ugly doing what it was supposed to do...Im going to get as much use out of that body as I can before I do a body swap...
