I did a Rough Country 3" lift on my 2WD.
I know my front is too high and I don't know the reason. Causing strange deflection on my LCA and LBJ.
Measured 25.5" both sides in the front.
RC is sending me a new front setup since they agree that this lifted it too high.
My thought is that even though they advertise it for both 2WD and 4WD, the spring rate was designed for the extra weight of the front diff and TC on a 4WD.
So the front doesnt have enough weight for it to sit how it needs to. Just my hypothesis.
Curious to know what other's have measured on the coilover (not spacer) lift on their RC kit!

Sounds like you have about a 5" lift in the front if you're measuring 25.5" in the front. Correct? There is no way that a transfer case, front diff and a few other items would push your front end down 2". As a test, have one or two of your buddy's stand on the front bumper and take the measurement. I doubt it will push it down 2" if at all. Hopefully Rough Country sent you the wrong springs and the new setup they are sending will resolve the issue.

I'm hoping the same. If the new front kit doesnt work, I'm going to Bilstein 5100's / OME 880's. For reference too, the rear is 24" fender to lip at the moment. Do you happen to know what the stock measurements are? Is it 20" front and rear?

Stock height varied by year. 20" is the accepted 'stock' height for lift comparison purposes.

1998 with unknown age RC lift. Likely original stock coils and shocks in front (shocks say made in Japan). Rides super stiff and terrible.

Both front 24"
Both rear 23 1/2"

New OME/Bilstein 881/890 coming soon! Hoping for roughly front 22 1/2" and rear 23"

Rr: L/C OME 2890's + 3/8" modified cone bump L/R 23.5" 120# in cargo area.

Measured from center hubs to the bottom edge of my oversized fender flares with a half tank of gas, full size spare, and 30-50 pounds of tools in the back.

Original 21 year old suspension:

FRONT DRIVER: ~ 19 3/4”
FRONT PASSENGER: ~ 20 1/4”
REAR DRIVER: ~ just under 20”
REAR PASSENGER: ~ 20”

After frame swap, new poly body mount and suspension bushings, 4Runner-specific Bilstein 5100s (fronts on lowest perch) with OME 880/906, no trim packers, no body lift:

FRONT DRIVER: ~ 21 1/16”
FRONT PASSENGER: ~ 21 1/4”
REAR DRIVER: ~ 22 1/4”
REAR PASSENGER: ~ 22 1/4”

EDIT: doesn’t effect the ride height measurements, but in case anyone was wondering: 265/75/16 All-terrain tires, Durobumps 3.5” extended bump stops, and [MENTION=28464]eimkeith[/MENTION] ‘s Panhard correction kit.

FRONT: 21 1/2" - Bilstein 6112 perch 6/5
REAR: 22 1/2" - OME 2906/Bilstein 5100

PCK lift bracket on driver's side only made Panhard level. Have a few hundred miles on this setup, with 350 lbs in the back the rear dropped 1"

Anyone with Eibachs up front that has their numbers on hand?
Really thinking of swapping out my TRD coils for them. Currently have about 23.5" hub-to-fender in the front end (including the +0.5" from my Toytec spacer). An extra inch would be amazing to even out my rake - and I've noticed the TRD coil/5100 combo gives hardly any flex

Im reviving this as its the post I was looking for. Those of us that lifted a long time ago then changed the lift again, it gets super hard to tell how much lift you actully have haha.

I just put some kings front and rear on and trying to keep it around 2"ish. I think im about there? Ive got stock uca and ordered standard perryparts bumps.

21.5" rear ome 2890 coil( 10 years on this coil)
