I'm rock'n 3 boards right now. I'll have to take some pics and get them posted, but here is my roster as it stands right now....
2005 Burton Baron ES 168 (all mountain/cruiser board, now my rock board)
2009 Burton Custom X Wide 164 (everyday, all-around go-to board)
2012 Venture Storm Wide 166 (back country/powder board)
I can't wait to get back on the hill. I just renewed my Epic Local Pass and booked a cat riding day at Irwin, just outside of Crested Butte, for January. Now we need some snow!
I just waxed my 4Runner this weekend to get it ready for winter. I'll be waxing my boards next....

Not nearly as nice as either of those but mine hasnt been used in about 3 years since I moved out of Alaska. Dont get much snow where I live now, and the mountains are about a 4 hour drive

Haha the flip side of the living room is couch land. That recliner is more to balance the room or guests.
Nice setup.
You should get rid of that TV and get an HD projector with a motorized screen that drops down from the ceiling.

You know how close I was to doing that! I was planning it out and came across that 60" on sale. Was a no brainer to pick it up but it gets lost on my wall. Do you have that setup??

Current board is an Atomic Axiom 153 with a pair of Flow FL9s, been rockin this setup for about 4 years now. Great board for all around riding ans its super tough (has an extra metal edge, about 1cm in to reinforce the real edge) for the woods, yet still flexible. The little guy is an old k2 something 110, with some old drake bindings... its alot of fun once you get use to the overhang. I teach on and off through out the season and its a great board for running up and down the rope tow with Haha. Been riding for about 17 years now.

Every board has a story to me and they all get used at some point.

I wish I had the arsenal you guys have, dont make much on a board instructors pay, but im getting some good stuff this year. Have a nice chunk saved.
Can't wait for the season! I move back to the mountains in november.

Back in the day when Lemmon was only $14 I'd steal money out of my moms, dads, brothers, sisters friends, wallets and hitchhike up there!!! Now it's damn near $45! Snow Bowl is always one of my favorites. My kid goes to school up there so I'm up there all the time. Sunrise? Eh.....

I was ridding the Rome Agent 4 years ago. Absolutely love that board. I got big into Lib Tech after that. Reverse camber FTW!!
I love how it will be 75 outside but look up at Mt.Lemon and see it snow caped. Snow bowl to my surprise totally kicked as* for a mountain in AZ. I rode there last March I want to say and really had a great time. Where in Tucson are you? My folks live in Vail bit I have friends in Tucson. Cant wait to go to King Fisher!!

This is from the early 90's. I still rock the same boards and boots. Bigger pants and jacket tho...
Like I said, I'm old school. I tried those "new" shaped skis and I hated the hell out of them.
A few years back I took these boards to a local ski shop for a tune up and the kid tells me "man you need to trash these and buy new skis, you'll break your leg with these". I picked them up and walked right out the door. That's like calling a 68 Camaro junk... By the way that shop is out of business.

No snow on Lemmy yet, but yeah, it's a kick in the shorts. I was in my bermuda shorts on Christmas day picking weeds... Now it's too damned crowded to even think about going up there after a snowstorm. 3/4s of Tucson and half on Nogales go up there.
I live near PV high school. My "cousin" used to own King Fisher. At least he helped open it. Never been there. You from Tucson?

Lol all of three trials. Must be a mad house. I'm not from Tucson but have family there for many years. I get out there ever 3-4 months for a visit. King fisher for happy hour is half price on all appetizers and the muscles... The muscles are the best!! You would be seriously missing out not giving it a try.

I started "riding" as a kid (late 80's in MN) by standing sideways on sleds, upgraded to a Black Snow, then a Burton Asym Air, and then I got a real board that changed my world: 148 Never Summer (shout out to Cal Surf for carrying NS in '94!). I still have it and need to figure out what to do with it, but I like the art-wall idea nethngbtstk posted earlier!
Now I'm in Colorado, riding whenever/wherever I can and am loving it. I did get to opening weekend at A-basin Sunday, but I can't wait for full-on winter!!

good choice in boards my friend. Gnu and lib made under same roof. Mervin makes some of the best quality boards out there in my opinion

Yessir! Thanks, You've got some great boards there as well. I feel like Mervin revolutionized the snowboard industry by implementing new designs that specifically suit the unique needs of standing sideways on a single plank. Between the banana, magna-traction, and now the toe/heel specific sidecut (on a couple Gnus anyways), they've definitely raised the bar for snowboard design...
How'd you mount your boards on the wall like that?

That looks like the billboard at Silverton. I've ridden Silverton the past 3 out of 4 years but we're going to mix it up this year and give cat riding in Irwin a try.

I started riding in '89 when I was 12 years old. Black Snow is a blast from the past! My first board was a Gnu 156. It was about 6 inches taller than me. My mom bought it for me at Gart Sports for Christmas and no one knew anything about snowboarding, much less how to size a board for a skinny 12-year old kid. I'll have to find a picture of me standing next to it. It was like riding a barn door but I manged to learn on it. My next board was a Barfoot (another blast from the past), then on to Burton.
