power only to headlights

First off I have research the problem and searched threads for an answer.
My 86 4runner has sat for almost a year due to lack of funds to fix. I finally got the money and all the parts needed. So I got it all together and no power except to the headlights. I jumped the "white wire", checked all fuses. cleaned all the grounds. I'm not sure what to do now. I'm now good with testing wires but I have done what I could.
Any ideas on what to check. Maybe relays? not sure how to test them or which one(s) Thanks ahead for any help

Jumped the white wire? ?
Do the hazards work? Those and the lights are the only things not on the AM1 or AM2 fusible links, so check those.

Hazards work. Getting power through am1 and am2. Got power at steering column.
No power to engine fuse or ecu

Engine fuse, ECU, ant others that do not work take power from the ignition switch to be on.

Are you getting power to your ignition switch?
Check voltage at AM1 terminal (white wire)?
Check voltage at Am2 terminal (White with red stripe)?

Turn to Acc position.
Radio works?
Do you get voltage at ACC terminal (Bluewith red stripe)?

Turn to IG ON position.
Do you get voltage at IG1 terminal (Black with yellow stripe)?
Do you get voltage at IG2 terminal (Black with red stripe)?

Pls report back and we'll go from there.

I finally got some time to work on my runner. Started getting no power to anything. So I was wiggled wires and found the fusible link wire going from the battery to the fuse box. Now my issue is that the one end in the fuse box broke off and I cant seem to find the rest of it (i.e.... where does it connect?)
Well that's my question is where does it connect. I'm thinking to AM1 but the rest of it is not there. I'm hoping to have time tomorrow to work on it again

That fusible link normally has a copper plate/tab like this.

Connects here...

On same side of the FL module as the red wire and red with blue stripe):

If the plate is missing, substitute with a copper plate, as thick as the ring terminal thickness to jump those two terminals.

If you can't find replacement fusible link, Summit Racing, NAPA and other auto stores sell them. Just need to find out what gauge to get for 80-amps.
If you need to crimp F.L. wire to another wire, do not use butt-connector.

You need to do a parallel splice, where stripped end of F.L. (blue) and stripped end of additional wire (white in stock ) overlap. Here's how I did mine (ignore the colors and wire gauge in drawing):
Used crimp barrel of heavy-duty ring terminal[/URL] (because I could not find proper sized parallel crimp connector at reasonable price), Crimped with Harbor Freight hydraulic crimper. For improved electrical contact and corrosion prevention, I soldered connection using 80-watt iron (Frys), Coated with rubber tape, then heat-shrunk.

The copper plate is still in place. I got an 80 amp fusible link wire from Napa with a short price of 10ga wire. I'll get back with everything in the next couple days.

Here is what I got with all the voltage tests

AM1-12.5v
AM2-12.5v

ACC-0v
IG1&2-0

No stereo in so didn't test that since no power going through ignition. All tests were done as instructed. Thinking next step is to replace ignition switch

Finally got it running today. The problem was a connection. I believe it's the check connector. It got bumped when I had the air cleaner out for my buddy's truck. Thanks for all the help
