Power Point presentation 4Runner project, ideas please?

Hey guys,

I have a final project in a business class on any topic of my choice. It needs to be a Power Point (at least 12-15 slides). I was thinking of doing it on 4Runners. I'm not sure if I want to focus on 4th gens or do the full history, ideas are welcome! I was thinking of talking about off roading and including pics I find on this forum and elsewhere. Any ideas of what I can make this project about?

I think a PP on the history of the 4Runner would be pretty cool.

First thing that popped into my mind was :

1) A History of the 4Runner.
2) Chassis that are shared (FJ, Lexus GX, Surf)
3) Go into Globalization on how/why this chassis is important to Toyota.

Instead of just being about 4Runners, you can "segway" it into a business topic.

Yeah. I'm just looking for something fun to talk about. This class in particular was focused on Microsoft Office so with the PP project they're looking for how I structure it, how I deliver the content, and using new techniques I learned from the class. Thanks for the tips! Anyone know how I can get the final product to this thread when I'm done. That way, anyone who cares can see it if they want lol

What might be a good project is not necessarily history...but the evolution of the 4runner. Now it evolved and possibly WHY it evolved. What were the business reasons the 4runner when to a 4-door...or why it went to a more car like feel....those kind of things. What kind of person bought the original 4runner compared to now. Look at things like why the current 4runner sells very well now...but wouldn't 30 years ago.

Im sure a 4runner PP would be cool for us t4r guys, but im sure your fellow classmates might be bored with it.

You could implement something about "The Toyota Way" of manufacturing. Lean principles and things like that.

You could talk about how the 4runner continues to increase in size.. needing bigger engines.. then bigger vehicles.. which in turn need bigger engines.

And talk about the business reason behind this re****ed trend.

It's done. I kept it VERY simple, lol. I did a special thanks to the forum at the end :thumb3: I included a TV commercial from every gen in there too. If anyone has any idea how to upload it somehow or get it so that you guys can see it let me know!
