Power seat

Newbi here I have searched to find some information with no luck so thought I would ask for a little help maybe to get to the right thread. I have a 2005 4runner and it is my wife's daily driver; she recently has had an injury and it would be great if I could put a power seat in for her and leather would be good because it is a little easier to slide in. Is there an easy swap I can start looking for in the junkyard or is this a nice idea but better forgotten?

Not 100% sure, but I think it would be a big job. You need the switches, motor, and power source. Not sure if all trucks are "prewired" for this.

ever think about pulling a seat out of a "part out" truck... rare i know but it happens and u know it will fit, but as far a wiring I am not sure if its pre-wired which otherwise would make this an easy task.

Good Luck!

I'm pretty sure the wiring is there in the harness you just have to find the connectors and hook it up. My truck has the wiring for RAS but it didnt come from the factory with the bags it came with just regular xreas i think they keep the electrical the same in all vehicles then tuck the unused connectors out of the way on the base models. ... I think...
