Ok folks, I could use a little help (and therapy) here.
Fist off this is on a 2nd Gen V6 Manual Transmission
To repair a leak in the power steering pump I removed it and replaced all of the o-rings using the kit from toyota. Like most 2nd gens, the pulley nut was not coming off without a fight and I ended up buying a new pulley from NAPA as mine was less than pretty when the nut finally came off. Now the belt keeps jumping off the pulley at anything over about 3K RPMs. The new pulley looks to be identical to the old one and everything is tensioned up good and tight. I can't see any alignment issues with the belt. And this is where I run out of ideas. Any advice or suggestions woud be appreciated. Also, has anyone had success with the NAPA pulley?
