Power Steering Fluid leak?

My buddy, who is also my mechanic, was replacing my timing when I told him that the rear main seal was leaking again (which he replaced a few months prior). He warranties his work so he took a look and determined there was no oil coming from the rear main seal, and that I was looking in the wrong place to begin with (I'm not a rocket surgeon). He said it is indeed power steering fluid but under my car was so filthy that he had no idea where it could be coming from.

Fast forward...

We cleaned under the car and discovered my T-Case is indeed a metallic silver and not black. Everything else looks decent now, but he works 70 hours a week and hasn't had time to look and locate the leak. (And it's a minute leak, barely noticeable, so it's more like a dribble then..)

I have been able to see that it's falling down from the driver side but now I need suggestions on how to find this tiny leak so I can prevent it from becoming a big leak. I have almost no mechanical experience with vehicles, but I know how to fix a flat and change my oil so talk dumb.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Since you have cleaned up the everything, some pics if where the fluid is accumulating/ dripping/ dribbling, and pics of the fluid itself would be very helpful.

power steering pump is on the passenger side, check oil filter housing, valve cover.

get a flashlight and crawl underneath like the rest of us do. You do own a flashlight, don't you? Look for the highest wet oil you can find, take a picture and bring that here and there is a good chance someone can ID it.

are you sure your vavle covers aren't leaking? they typically end up dripping on and around the steering rack. One thing people sometimes confuse for a power steering leak.
