Hi guys?
Why would my 1997 4Runner have a fluid leak inside the passenger compartment by the steering column when I turn the wheel?

I have never heard of this. Is it possible the power steering line rusted and it just squirting fluid up the shaft from a pinhole in the line. With the fluid spaying on the shaft sending it into the cab.

Clutch and brake fluid can leak in if they those seals are really warn. Rare though.

yeah your title says power steering but then your post just says fluid. You also say passenger side and then steering column.

If its on the passenger side, I bet its AC condensation line clogged.

Huh? He didn't say any of that.

OP, try to figure out exactly what type of fluid it is, and go from there.
(Pics help too!)

Welp I totally read that wrong I guess, For some reason Passenger compartment ment passenger side in my brain. I guess ignore my post cause im confused on how fluid could get to the drivers steering column from turning the wheel. There isnt any fluid lines there.
