Power Steering Return line

Looking for a short term fix, got a leak, and has gotten considerably worse very quickly, any idea what kind of PSI is run thru the Power Steering return line. I realize the high pressure line is very high, up to 1500 psi if I remember correctly.
I plan to replace both within the next month, but have to wait till the lines get here. need to stop the bleeding temporarily.
the hard line has northeast cancer, plan to cut the tube where it fits in to hose, but need to make sure the hose is strong enough.

Not much pressure at all in the return line. Transmission hose would be sufficient

Just slice a hose like a hot dog bun and put it on the line over the hole then zip-tie it on with a bunch of zip ties, its a pretty long term solution.
