Power Window Issue

I have a 2003 Limited. Today my five year old son put the driver side rear window down and for the first time ever it stuck in the open position.

When I stopped the truck and got out I was able to pull the glass window up with my hands to the nearly closed position. The rear door window switch was slightly out of alignment. I fixed that and the rear window went up. Now it is working perfectly again.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what happened? It seems like the window somehow popped out of its track and is now back where it should be.

Sadly all power windows fail at some time if used. I have had many Autos and Trucks with power windows, all have failed over time.

I still buy with them,but I don't use them very much. Just like tires they will wear out and need replacement.
