Power window issues

Hi guys.
So my power windows didn't work when I bought the car so it's time to fix them.
I've read all I can about it and tried a few things but no luck .
My window lock button is broken so it was hard for me to try this obvious staying point. ....
So I took the window switch box apart and gave all the little contacts a clean. I then put the lock switch in the up position, didn't work. As I want sure if the up or down position was window lock I tried it with the switch in the down position, still didn't work.
I am therfore ruling out the window lock switch .
I read in somebody else's post that I can run a live feed to one of the wires in the switch (I can't remember exactly which one) but I tried this and it still didn't work .
I'm guessing it may be a blown fuse, but I couldn't find a fuse for the windows in the fuse box .So maybe a bad relay.
Could you please tell me where the relay is and if there is any way to test it or do I just buy a new one?
Also if there is anything else you can think of .. ..
Thanks :D

Either up or down the windows don't work so I guess it's something else.
And I'm not too sure what you mean about the wiper being in the bumper, but it sounds like your taking about the rear window.
To clarify my rear window works, it's the cab power windows I'm having problems with.

You might pull the driver's door panel and switch assembly to see if you have power coming in and out. It's not uncommon to have a harness break in the door jam area.
regards

Somebody must know where the relay or fuse are located.......
I can't be the only person to have problems with their power windows, I've been searching the whole meet for about 4/5 weeks.

I don't have power windows but did you check the fuse box in the engine bay? I will check my manual later and see what it says about location and testing.

Yep I've checked fuse box in engine bay and kick panel on drivers side. All fuses look good.....
That would be awsome, thanks mate.

The window fuse is your gages fuse. The middle one in the kick plate. I've been poppin fuses left and right trying to figure out why and where the problem is.
