Power Windows (Front) - No Worky

Hey all...by now, some of you have seen my FrankenRunner...and wouldn't ya know the day after I get it back from having the engine and turbo rebuilt...the passenger side window decides not to roll back up.

1. I'm thinking I can get away with replacing the motor...or I may try to pull the window motor out, take it apart, and clean it up. But if I have to replace it...what is the benefit to getting the entire assembly versus just the motor?

2. Even when it did work, it wasn't operable from the driver side switches. What should I look for besides the obvious like a bad connection, or compromised wire?

Thanks!

You might check the continuity in the wiring harness through the driver's door to the master switch. You'll need to pull the panel to get proper access.
Here is a pic of when the harness failed at the door jam hinges on the driver's door.

I took the door panel off, and pulled the wiring out to get a look...turns out to be a bad connection. I jiggled it and it started working. I'll get in there over the weekend and splice it correctly, and silicon spray the windows.

Gonna check that out aswell. My front windows dont work either. Cheers for the pic.
