The pass side window on my 88 will go down with both switches but will not go up. Any ideas? Sometimes I can get them to go up but its a pain in the butt.

Can i just replace the switches with an up and down switch? like this one..

Replace the switch with one out of a junker. They are cheap. Not sure if you can order new ones from the dealer.

I have several junkers in my garage.. They are all crap.. I have tried to clean them and they work for a while then same thing happens again.. I have robbed all the junkers close by..

My local Oreilly auto parts had an oem replacement in stock and it looked and works exactly like the original.

I don't have a part number. Just give them the year and they should be able to look it up.

You might check the wiring harness and circuit first. Ours broke in the flex/or jam of the driver's door. It also cooked one of the circuits in the motor, but I'd check the wiring first to see if you have power. You will probably need to pull both driver's and passenger panels, unfortunately. Hope this helps.
